Gain the experience you need in the classroom, laboratory, and real-world to succeed in today’s building industry. Through rigorous experience in this pre-apprenticeship program students will be taught construction skills. In Construction Technology your major focus will be on elements of Carpentry and a minor in either Finish Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Cabinetry, or Masonry. Students will learn the latest skills through curriculum from the National Career for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), and earn a NCCER certification that is nationally recognized as the industry standard. Students in the Construction Technology program are physically active on the job, use hand and power tools, read and interpret blueprints, and work indoors and outdoors.
